Our Story

Courageous Kingdom Ministries was born from a divine calling—to establish a Kingdom-centered ministry where courage is restored, lives are transformed, and families are strengthened through the truth and power of Jesus Christ. Founded by John Byard, this ministry began as a personal journey of faith, obedience, and restoration, and grew into a spiritual covering designed to guide others into their God-given identity and purpose.

Courageous Kingdom Ministries serves as the foundation and ultimate covering for its core discipleship communities, each created to minister to specific areas of life while remaining united under one Kingdom vision.

Through Courageous Brotherhood, men are called to rise in strength, accountability, and leadership as Kingdom men. Through Hot Mess Express, women find grace, healing, and encouragement as they walk in their identity in Christ. Through Cornerstone of Marriage, couples are equipped to build strong, covenant-centered marriages rooted firmly on Jesus Christ as their foundation.

As a Soul Center, Courageous Kingdom Ministries also provides spiritual guidance, officiant services, discipleship, and faith-based outreach through media such as Strength Journey Radio. Every part of the ministry exists to help people move from brokenness to restoration, from fear to courage, and into the fullness of their Kingdom calling.

The ministry stands on the promise of Joshua 1:9:

“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
